you would like to invite a representative of UNHCR London to a speaking
engagement please submit your request in writing, stating what organisation
you are writing on behalf of, the nature of the event, possible
times, venues and any desired topics. Requests may be submitted
by emailing gbrloea@unhcr.org

that due to the small size of our team in London, it is not always
possible for us to accept speaking engagements.
Teachers
UNHCR London can provide information and resources on how to teach
about refugee issues. However we are unfortunately unable to assist
with enquiries on how to teach pupils who are refugees or asylum
seekers. For further information on how to teach children who are
refugees, please contact either the email discussion group, refed,
or the Refugee
Council.
For
details of educational resources on refugee issues available from
UNHCR London please click
here.
We
can also loan out display material, laminated exhibits and posters - for further information please click

An
exhibition of paintings by children in refugee camps around the
world is also available on loan. Click here
for further information.
Students
Due to the small size of our team we are unfortunately unable
to assist with individual research enquiries. However we can point
you in the right direction to relevant information and organisations.
This
web site explains the nature and scope of our work in the UK. For
further information on the work of the UNHCR around the world, please
refer to UNHCR's international website - www.unhcr.org,
which contains the
latest news of our work around the world, UNHCR
publications and an archive of research
and evaluation, including in-depth
country and legal information.
Please
note that we only stock a limited number of publications in hard
copy at our London office. All UNHCR publications are available
on-line at our international website - www.unhcr.org
(see above for guidance on where to start looking). For further
information on publications available from the London office please
see the 'Publication & Resources'
section of this website.
